Local youths distributed food items among more than 50 helpless and destitute families at the initiative of Shihipur Multipurpose Development Club at Velajan area in Thakurgaon Sadar Upazila on Friday.
The food items were distributed among the families who lost their jobs due to the corona virus spread, at the Shihipur Multipurpose Club premises in Velajan area with the organization's own funds. Dr. Md. Tauhidur Rahman was present as the main patron at this time.
Among others, the president of the organization Masud Sarkar, vice-president Sultan Mahmud, GS Jewel Rana, deputy GS Sihab Uddin and other members of the organization were also present.
