A police outpost was inaugurated at Cumilla Mahanagari Housing Estate in the district on Thursday.
Chief of the Special Branch of Police, Additional Inspector General Md Monirul Islam, inaugurated the outpost by cutting ribbon.
Chattogram Range DIG Noore Alam Mina, Additional DIG of Highway Eastern Region Md Khairul Alam, Cumilla District Police Superintendent Abdul Mannan, Police Superintendent Md Asad, Additional Police Superintendent Kamrul Hasan, Additional Police Superintendent Nazmul Hasan, Additional Police Superintendent Kazi Motiul Islam Chowdhury, Senior Assistant Police Superintendent AKM Emranul Islam Maruf, Officer-in-Charge of Kotwali Police Station Md Firoz Hossain and TI Saiful Islam were also present at the inaugural ceremony.
