Police launch ‘Hello Doctor’ in Ctg

Telemedicine service called 'Hello Doctor' has been launched in Kotwali thana area of Chattogram to prevent coronavirus transmission.  

Residents of Chittagong City have been receiving this service since the evening of Monday with the help of Pulse Clinical Laboratory under the initiative of Kotwali Police Station.

Officer-in-Charge of Kotwali Police Station Mohammad Mohsin said, 'In this situation in the country, the private hospital-clinic, doctor's chamber is closed in Chittagong city.  Therefore, to ensure any health information including coronavirus, 'Hello Doctor' program has been launched in Kotwali police station area.  We are assisting nine doctors in a private practice at a diagnostic center called Pulse Clinical Laboratory."

According to the OC, the doctors have been given a sim.   Private physicians will call Robi on 01870700700 with the help of specialized technology.  He will then give health advice.  It is learned, Dr.  Sajib Talukder, Anik Chand, Monika De Chand, Shobhit Dutt, Kirmanjay Chowdhury, Prithviraj Kar, Jewel Mahajan, Milton Sengupta, Jaya Roy Chowdhury are in turn providing this telemedicine service as Hello Doctor. 

'With the help of Kotwali Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Mohsin launched a telemedicine service called Pulse This Hello Doctor.  Serving 250 people daily.  Not only in the city of Chittagong, there are calls from different districts of the country and even from abroad.  Most service providers are dealing with colds, coughs, fever, blood pressure, diabetes problems.'
