New Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kurigram Sadar Police Station Khan Mohammad Shahriar exchanged views with journalists of the District Press Club.
The views- exchange meeting between OC Shahriar and Press Club General Secretary Aminur Rahman was held at the Press Club office on Thursday.
Durng the meet, OC Shahriar said, police and journalists work in challenging professions and both risk their lives to maintain peace and order in the country and society.
So, it is important to have a good relationship among the people from both professions, he added.
As per instructions of the district’s superintendent of police, he is confident that he will make his jurisdiction free from crimes including drugs and gambling, the OC said.
Press Club Aminur Rahman General Secretary Rahman assured all possible cooperation to the police administration.
