Chattogram metropolitan police in a drive arrested two listed motorcycle lifters with two stolen motorcycles from engineer colony of Pahartali thana on Saturday.
The arrested was identified as Mohammad Foisal, 27, and Yasin Afafat Saddam, 27, members of an organized motorcycle lifter gang.
Police recovered a two stolen motorcycles from his possession during the drive, police said.
Acting on a tip of, a team of Pahartali thana police arrested them from engineer colony, east side of Velurdigi under the police station on 2.30 am on Friday.
The arrestee confessed to the police that they were the member of an organized motorcycle thieves who lift motorcycles from different area in Chattogram for a long and sell those stolen motor cycle in the district.
Numbers of cases were pending against them with different police station in this connection.
