Pointing out that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is moving forward with the plan to establish one medical college in each district, the minister said, not long, doctors, nurses and health care workers will be born from each district.
He said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina wants to win people's hearts by improving health care and people's destiny. He also said that 10,000 doctors and 14,000 nurses have already been appointed. And so now there is no need to go abroad for treatment. All types of treatment are being given in the country. After visiting M Abdur Rahim Medical College Hospital Dinajpur on Friday, Health Minister Zahid Maleque said these things in the conference room with doctors and officials.
