Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina unveiled the cover of ‘Bhashon Shamogro, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’ edited by Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen following her meeting with the cabinet at the Pime Minister’s office on Monday.
The book encompasses 118 speeches given by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman from 1955 to 1975. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina herself has written the preface of the book. The book has been published by Humayun Kabir from Charulipi Prokashon.
In the preface, Prime Minister mentions that all the great speeches that have been given by leaders of the world were written and well-rehearsed. Bangabandhu’s speech on March 7 including all other speeches were spontaneous. His speeches were made of his long time experiences as a leader and his struggles.
The Prime Minister thinks that “it was the preparation of a war, that brought a great victory.” These speeches highlighted the victory that was achieved by encouraging seven crore people.
