‘PM must be in power for progress of health sector dev’

The 4th National Conference of "NeurosSpine Society of Bangladesh" (NSSB) has been auspiciously inaugurated.  Chattogram City Corporation Mayor Md. Rezaul Karim Chowdhury inaugurated the conference as the chief guest at Radisson Blu in the port city of Chattogram on Tuesday night.  Inaugural ceremony on the first day and day-long scientific seminar on the second day.

 Speakers said that Bangabandhu's daughter Sheikh Hasina has developed the country.  After Bangabandhu, the development of the health sector started after he (Sheikh Hasina) came to power.  The government and private modern medical service centers of the country were built by him.  Due to his multifaceted initiatives, the country's medicines are being exported.  Due to the continued power of the Awami League government, the picture of the country's development has changed.  Bangladesh's progress is running at breakneck speed.  Bangabandhu's daughter Sheikh Hasina's strong spirit, sound advice, separate budget allocation and inspiration helped Bangladesh successfully fight the coronavirus epidemic

  Community clinics are serving people in remote areas at the marginal level to ensure people's healthcare.  Cancer, kidney, plastic surgery service institutions are being established in the divisional city.  Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has built modern service institutions like Neurosound.  It is in his hands that Bangladesh has moved towards the developed world today.  Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina must be kept in power to continue the progress of Bangladesh's development.  Everyone has to work unitedly to keep Sheikh Hasina in power.

 At present patients suffering from neuro problems can be treated in Bangladesh.  But skilled manpower is less than required.

 Concerned institutions are urged to increase the number of neurosurgeons to treat neurological diseases as per the needs of the people.

 Before this, as a pre-workshop of the conference, a day-long hands-on education on spinal cadaveric transplant on the dead or dead body was provided on Tuesday in the anatomy department of Chattogram Medical College outside the capital Dhaka.

 CCC Mayor Md. Rezaul Karim Chowdhury said that there has been development in the health sector during the tenure of Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.  Due to the development of the country's health sector, the number of patients going abroad for treatment has decreased.  The economy of the country has increased.

There has been a revolution in the pharmaceutical industry of the country.  Medicines of the country are being exported abroad.  The doors of these industries have been opened by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

He said that due to the development of Bangladesh's health sector, Bangladesh has successfully dealt with the coronavirus war.  At the beginning of the Corona virus, we were quite worried due to the dense population. But after Bangabandhu's daughter Hon'ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina came in front of the media and spoke about what to do in the fight against the Corona virus, the country's medical system turned around.  For the sake of the development of Bangladesh, we must be united to bring the honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to power again and again.

 Professor Dr Md Sharfuddin Ahmed, Vice-Chancellor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, said that there are currently 220 neurosurgeons in Bangladesh.  But according to the people of the country, 1600 neurosurgeons are needed.  Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University has taken the initiative to increase specialist doctors including neurosurgeons for the needs of the country.  The number of seats will be doubled and doubled where the faculty is under us.  We will stop courses where there is no faculty.  We want to ensure quality along with quantity.

 Professor Md Sharfuddin Ahmed said that all the development of the country has been made possible by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.  The foundation of the country's health sector was written by Bangabandhu.  It has been fulfilled in the hands of his privileged daughter Sheikh Hasina.  Bangabandhu is the hero of freedom war and Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is the hero of coronavirus war.  The health sector of the country has been improved by his hands. As a result of the development of the health sector, the number of people going abroad for treatment is decreasing. Bangladesh is the first in South Asia to prevent corona virus.

 and ranked fifth worldwide.  Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has no choice to maintain the trend of development of all sectors including the health sector of Bangladesh.

 Honorable Dean of Faculty of Surgery of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Professor Dr. Mohammad Hossain said, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman started the Department of Neurosurgery in war-torn Bangladesh and opened it with Professor Rashid Uddin Sir.  The journey of modern neurosurgery started after Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina came to power.  If the current Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is in power, we can transform it into a model of neurosurgery in Bangladesh by 2032.  If it can be converted into a model of neurosurgery in Bangladesh, no one will have to go outside the country.

 General Secretary of Neuro Spine Society Prof. Dr. Md. Rafiqul Islam gave welcome speech on the occasion.  Dr. Md. Kamaluddin Ahmed, Acting Professor of NeuroSpine Society presided over the event.

 At this time, the proctor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Dr. Md. Habibur Rahman Dulal and senior doctors of the university were present.

 Neurosurgeons and NeuroSpine surgeons from all over the country participated in the event.
