International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Information & Communication Technology (ICEEICT 2021) started on Thursday at Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST).
According to the ISPR, this is a 3 days long conference where researchers and professionals from both academia and industry from Australia, China, France, Germany, India, Japan, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and United States along with Bangladesh are participating for sharing up-to-date knowledge and experience in the fields on electrical, electronic engineering and Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
M. A. Mannan, Planning Minister inaugurated the ceremony as the chief guest. Professor Dr. Satya Prasad Majumder, Vice Chancellor of Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET) was the special guest. Maj Gen Md Wahid-Uz-Zaman, Commandant of MIST was present as the chief patron of the conference.
The first conference of ICEEICT was held at MIST in 2014. ICEEICT-2021 is in important event of MIST in Mujib Borsho. The conference is focusing on recent researches, article presentations and discussions on demanding tracks including artificial intelligence, biomedical engineering, computer network and security, communication technologies, digital signal and image processing, optoelectronics and photonics, power electronics and drives, power system and renewable energy, semiconductor device and nano-technology, software engineering, VLSI and circuits, microwave engineering, radar engineering, satellite navigation, which is the common platform for the researcher to share their experience amongst themselves around the globe.
It is expected that this conference will eventually build a forum of researchers, entrepreneurs, engineers and students from all over the world which will open a door to innovations and sustainable developments in electrical, electronic engineering and ICT which will have a significant impact on shaping Digital Bangladesh.
The closing ceremony of the conference will be held at MIST on 20 November. Maj Gen Md Wahid-Uz-Zaman, Commandant, MIST will be present as the chief guest.
