Physically Challenged Int’l Cricket Tournament from March 27

Minister Group will be the sponsor of the ‘Bangabandhu Four-Nation Physically Challenged Cricket Tournament-2022’ which will start on March 27. The announcement was made at a press conference held at the conference hall of National Sports Council on Thursday. 

Hon’ble Minister of State for Youth and Sports of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and Chairman of the Organizing Committee Md. Zahid Ahsan Russel, MP was present on the occasion along with Secretary, Ministry of Youth and Sports Mezbah Uddin and Head of Brand and Communication, Minister Group KMG Kibria.

On the occasion of the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the golden jubilee of Bangladesh’s independence. ‘Bangabandhu Four-Nations Physically Challenged Cricket Tournament-2022’ is going to be held. This tournament is the initiative of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and in collaboration with the Bangladesh Cricket Association for the Physically Challenged (BCAPS), the National Paralympic Committee of Bangladesh from 27 to 31 March 2022 at Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium, Cox’s Bazar.

Hon’ble Minister of State for Youth and Sports of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Md. Zahid Ahsan Russel, MP will inaugurate the ‘Bangabandhu Four-Nation Physically Challenged Cricket Tournament-2022’ on March 27. Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will attend the program virtually and distribute the prizes as the chief guest in the final on March 31. Apart from host Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Sri Lanka will also participate in the tournament.
