Physically challenged girl gets GPA-5 in PEC exam

Physically challenged Litun Jira received GPA-5 in the examination of PEC to write with mouth at Manirampur upazila in Jashore. 

Born without two hands and two feet, she took part in the PEC examination this time and wrote by her mouth. Litun Jira is the daughter of Habibur Rahman of Khanpur village in Manirampur upazila of Jashore district. 

She took part in the PEC examination from Khanpur Government Primary School in the upazila. She does not want to become a burden in the  society. She wants to become self-reliant as a human being by studying and learning. 

Litun Jira’s father Habibur Rahman and mother Jahanara Begum said, their child can eat and drink naturally. She always writes with her mouth. Anyone will be fascinated by his excellent hand writing.

Litun Jira said that her only wish is  to learn something and do something for herself and the country.  

Sajeda Khatun, head master of Litun Jira’s school, said that in her 20 years of teaching life, she has not met a talented student like Litun Jira. She is much better than others.  Upazila Nirbahi Officer Ahsan Ullah Sharifi said that Litun Jira will be a inspiration for others.
