On the occasion of the 92nd birth anniversary of Bangmata Sheikh Fazilatunnessa Mujib, the lifelong companion of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the photo gallery was inaugurated at the Sheikh Fazilatunnessa Mujib Eye Hospital and Training Institute in Gopalganj, keeping in mind the theme of "The spirit of Mahayasi Bangmata, the inspiration of indomitable Bangladesh".
Sheikh Fazilatunnessa Mujib Eye Hospital and Training Institute Director Prof. Dr. Nahid Ferdowsi was the Chief Guest in the inaugural function, former Advisor to Hon'ble Prime Minister on Health and Family Welfare and Social Welfare and President of Community Clinic Health Assistance Trust and Bangladesh Medical Research Council Prof. Dr. Syed Modachher Ali.
General Secretary of Gopalganj District Awami League, Mahabub Ali Khan, Assistant Director of Sheikh Fazilatunnecha Mujib Eye Hospital and Training Institute, Dr. Mo Abul Kalam Azad and Deputy Director Dr. Anwarur Rauf Khan were present as special guests in the event under the direction of Dr. Nipa Bepari. After the inauguration of the photo gallery, a short discussion meeting about Bangmata's biography was held in the conference room of Sheikh Fazilatunnessa Mujib Eye Hospital and Training Institute. In the discussion, the speakers highlighted various aspects of the life philosophy of the struggling wife of the father of the nation.
It is to be noted that before the inauguration of the photo gallery, Sheikh Fazilatunnessa Mujib Eye Hospital and Training Institute Director Prof. Dr. Nahid Ferdowsi led by Professor Dr. Nahid Ferdowsi, on the occasion of the 92nd birth anniversary of Bangmata Begum Fazilatunnessa Mujib, paid tribute to Bangmata's portrait located in the administrative building of the hospital by placing flowers.
