Bangladesh Oil, Gas and Mineral Corporation (Petrobangla) has celebrated the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in a befitting manner.
To mark the day, officials and employees of Petrobangla placed a floral wreath at the portrait of Bangabandhu at the office of Gas Transmission Company Limited, a company of Petrobangla, at Agargaon in the capital on Tuesday.
Besides, a cake was cut and a special prayer (Dua Mahfil) was offered at the Dr. Habibur Rahman Hall of Petrobangla. Directors, Officers' Association and Employees Union along with officers and staff of all segments of Petrobangla were present on the occasion.
