While addressing a grand rally in Rajshahi city, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said whenever Awami League (AL) comes to power, the fate of the people is changed as her party’s only motto is to work for the welfare of the people.Sheikh Hasina, also the President of ruling AL further said her party never flees; rather it works with the people for their betterment.

Imbued with the spirit of the Liberation War, all Bangalis believe the ruling AL always work with the people for their wellbeing as party was formed at the hands of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Besides, Bangladesh is moving forward on the path of prosperity with the non-communal spirit shown by Bangabandhu.

All know after the brutal killing of Bangabandhu, the architect of the Bangali nation state, on August 15, 1975, the reign of murder was established in our country through rehabilitation of killers. The tradition was followed by the murderers of Bangabandhu and later by Khandaker Mushtaq, Ziaur Rahman, Ershad and Khaleda Zia.They had come to power to do every sort of crime that includes carrying out murder, arson attacks, patronising the killers alongside making their own fortunes. But Sheikh Hasina came back to the country and established the rule of law by prosecuting war criminals, Bangabandhu’s murderers and perpetrators of other major crimes in the country in line with the provisions of the Constitution.

We all will have to move

forward overcoming all

the odds and obstacles

Since then the BNP-Jamaat clique and anti-liberation and different communal forces could not accept the AL at all. They are constantly playing ducks and drakes with the election and people’s voting rights side by side pushing the country behind whenever they come to power.

BNP’s senior leaders’ recent statements have already created the strongest resentment among the people of the country. Through their statements, the BNP’s real face, character, traditional anti-Bangladesh stance and secret agenda of anti-independence ill-politics have already been exposed. It is clear to all that the party’s leaders hold Pakistan in their hearts as they are the agents of Pakistan in Bangladesh even after 52 years of the country’s independence. As the BNP-Jamaat is making conspiracy capitalising on any issue both at home and abroad to carry out subversive acts centering the next national polls, country’s peace-loving people must give a befitting reply to the evil forces and thwart anti-state conspiracies untidily. We should keep in mind that these anti-liberation forces burned people to death, torched public transports such as buses, trains and launches, and government offices in the name of movement. We all will have to move forward overcoming all the odds and obstacles, and extend supports to Sheikh Hasina’s government.
