Pedestrians fined for not wearing mask in Nabinagar

Pedestrians were fined a total of Tk 5,500 in five separate cases by a mobile court for not wearing masks disobeying government directives and hygiene rules in Nabinagar of Brahmanbaria.

Nabinagar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mohammad Masum conducted the mobile court in Nabinagar on Wednesday afternoon.

Meanwhile, SI Jasim of Nabinagar police station and members of law enforcement forces assisted the mobile court in the operation. Violators were fined and warned during the operation.

Nabinagar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mohammad Masum said that if anyone go out for emergency reasons, they must use the mask in accordance with the government's instructions and hygiene rules and urged everyone to stay at home to stay free from coronavirus infection.
