A Pathao rider was killed and another wounded when an oil-laden lorry-tanker hit their motorcycle in Amulia area of Demra police station in the capital on Thursday night.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Humayun, 32, son of Altaf Hossain of Mir Hazaribagh area in Shampur.

(OC) of police outpost at DMCH Mohammad Bachchu Mia said.
Later, they were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where doctors declared Humayun dead around 10.30 pm, he added. The body of the deceased has been kept at the hospital morgue for autopsy, the police official said.
