At least 10 passengers were injured when a passenger bus fell into a ditch at Baidarapur on the Jhalokati-Khulna highway.
The incident took place on Sunday morning. According to eyewitnesses, the Patharghata-bound passenger bus lost control and fell into a ditch after hitting a tree on the side of the road.
About 10 passengers of the bus were injured.
Jhalokati Fire Station Officer Shahidul Islam said, "I got the news on 999 and the district station phone at 5:30 in the morning. I reached the spot and rescued the injured and took them to Sadar Hospital."
The injured are all safe. The bus that fell into the ditch is being rescued.
