Partial lunar eclipse will be visible from all over the country tonight. The lunar eclipse will start at 12: 42 am and will end in the morning at 5:29.

Apart from Bangladesh, this lunar eclipse will also be visible from other countries, such as the Caribbean, South America, Europe and Africa.

Lunar eclipse happens only when the earth appears on the same straight line in between the sun and the moon, and the shade of the earth falls on the moon. The shade covers the moon partly or in full, as a result, the moon becomes partly or fully invisible. When the shade recedes, the moon again becomes visible from earth.

President of Astronomy Department Md. Shajahan Mridha says, “To observe the solar eclipse with the naked eyes is very harmful, but observing the lunar eclipse with naked eyes is not harmful”
