Chuadanga District Committee on Covid-19 declared Darshana municipality’s Ward No. 5 and 7 at Damurhuda upazila of Chaudanga district as red zone and imposed lockdown at the areas from June16.
A meeting was held for present situation of coronaviruse in the district with Nazrul Islam Sarker, Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Chuadanga, in the chair.
Dr. ASM Maruf Hasan, CS, Abu Tarek, Additional Police Super (Administration), Obaidur Rahman Chowdhuri Jipu, Mayor of Chuadanga Pourasabha, Captain of Army Shah Md. Marjan, Muhammad Sadiqur Rahman, UNO of Sadar Upazila and Dilara Rahman, UNO of Damurhuda Upazila took part in the discussion on the issue.
Ward No. 5 and 7 of Darshana Pourasabha has been imposed under lockdown as red zone for high rate of infection of coronavirus. The lockdown program started from June 16. All kinds of help will be provided by the government, said Nazrul Islam Sarker.
