After Bhoot Chokro Pvt Ltd, Haranath Chakraborty is set to begin his yet-untitled film. The thriller revolves around the experience of a couple — Atin Roy, a scriptwriter, and Esha, a schoolteacher. While Ritwick Chakraborty is playing Atin, Parno Mittra will be essaying the role of Esha. The film also features Ranjit Mallick in the pivotal role of a police officer. The story, screenplay and dialogue of the film have been penned by Padmanabha Dasgupta.
According to the director, the film shows what happens when Atin takes Esha to Kalimpong and the duo discover that the bungalow in which they are staying is haunted. “Atin and Esha are very much in love and when he goes to Kalimpong to complete a script, he takes her along. In Kalimpong, they put up in a bungalow, which they later come to know is haunted. Then, Esha dies a few days later. And the film takes a turn. The police officer starts investigating her death and discovers all kinds of creepy secrets. Now, I can’t reveal anything more than this,” said the director, adding that he’s looking forward to working with Ritwick and Parno. “Both of them are brilliant actors,” he signed off.
