Parkview Hospital in Chittagong has received the Certificate of Achievement in the 'Training on Medical Waste Separation and Disposal' programme.
The four-month pilot project 'Training on Medical Waste Separation and Disposal' was organized by Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) and Japan International Corporation Agency (JICA).
The certificate was handed over to the hospital's managing director Dr ATM Rezaul Karim at a function in the conference room of Parkview Hospital on Wednesday afternoon.
CCC Mayor Md Rezaul Karim Chowdhury was the chief guest on the occasion. The chief guest emphasized the importance of orderly waste management in conserving the environment.
He also praised the activities of Parkview Hospital.
Dr ATM Rezaul Karim, Managing Director, Parkview Hospital, thanked the concerned organizations for the training on Medical Waste Management.
CCC Ward Councilor Morshed Ali, Councilor Noor Mostafa Tinu, Councilor Hasan Murad Biplob, Chairman Waste Management Standing Committee Councilor Mubarak Ali, General Manager Talukder Ziaur Rahman Sharif, JICA Project Team Leader Masahiro Saito, Marketing Manager Jahedul Islam, Senior staff of Parkview Hospital were present on the occasion.
