A lineman of Narail Pallibiddut under Jashore Palli Biddut Samity-2 was electrocuted at Morichpasa village in Lohagora upazila of Narail district on Monday Morning.
The deceased was identified as Rajibul Biswas, 35, son of Mostain Biswas of Gobra village under sadar upazila of Narail.
Md Mokarom Hossain, Officer in charge of Lohagora thana confirm the matter.
Locals sources said, Rajibul had come in contact with a live electric wire while he had been working to disconnect Miraj Mollah’s house Biddut line from a Biddut’s Pillar in Lohagora upazila in the district where he was electrocuted and died on the spot.
A case was filed with Lohagora thana in this connection.
