A new 13-member executive committee of the Palash Upazila Press Club in Narsingdi has been formed through unanimous consent. Haji Zahid Hossain Gazi, Narsingdi correspondent of Dainik Manabkantha, has been elected president, while Nur-e-Alam Roni, RTV’s Narsingdi correspondent, has been chosen as general secretary. The announcement was made on Wednesday afternoon at the club office in the presence of member journalists. Saiful Islam, correspondent of Bangladesh Post, has been appointed treasurer. Other office bearers include Jahangir Kabir (Jugantor) as senior vice president, SK Debnath Samir (Sangbad) as vice president, Al-Amin Mia (Protidiner Sangbad) as joint secretary, and Mahbub Sayed (Rupali Bangladesh) as assistant secretary, among others. The committee also includes members handling literature, culture, and IT affairs.
