It’s second time the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officially announced the revised schedule for upcoming three-match T20I series against Bangladesh with starting from May 28.
According to official confirmation of the PCB, the full series will take place under lights at Lahore’s historic Gaddafi Stadium instead of different venues from 28 to June 1.
The highly anticipated series will begin on Wednesday (28 May), with the second game setting for Friday, 30 May, and the final T20I scheduled for Sunday, 1 June. Earlier, the games were rumoured to take place on June 1st, 3rd, and 5th.
Meanwhile, the series was also reduced to three from five when the Bangladesh was supposed to play five-match series.
As per the new schedule, Bangladesh will play three T20 Internationals instead of five. According to the press release the two boards agreed to reduce the five-match series to three matches.
All matches of the Pakistan and Bangladesh series are scheduled for an 8:00 PM local time start.
The Bangladesh cricket team is expected to arrive in Lahore on Sunday, the training sessions scheduled for 26 and 27 May to fine-tune their preparations ahead of the series. This marks another important international assignment for Pakistan at home as the team continues to shape its T20 core for major events like the T20 Asia Cup and the ICC T20 World Cup 2026.
For Pakistan, this series also offers a platform to Test its emerging talent pool, when they dropped some of their experienced players like Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shaheen Afridi while Mike Hesson will make his debut as Pakistan’s head coach.
Meanwhile, the series was briefly turned into uncertaincty due to external pressures following Paksitan-India conflict, but the PCB’s timely intervention and successful diplomatic engagement ensured that the fixtures would proceed as planned.
Gaddafi Stadium, which has hosted numerous high-octane clashes over the years, is once again set to be the heart of Pakistan cricket, offering fans a festive atmosphere and a look at the next generation of T20 stars from both sides.
