Pain of middle-income people

“I am a middle-income person; can anything be done for me? Only the night will be passed whatever (food) is in my house. My son is too young.” It was a comment uploaded on social media. 

A man of Savar area expressed his helplessness through the comment on social site on Friday as he is passing hard times during crisis moment following the coronavirus outbreak. 

AFM Sayeed, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Savar Model Police Station, went to the man’s house on Friday mid-night at Ashulia in Savar, and provided essentials after seeing the comment on social site.

Many rich people of the society have already come forward and sanded by low-income people as much as they can from their places since after the country shutdown amid coronavirus spread, but there is no such any arrangement yet to taken for the middle class group of the society, those, who cannot express their helplessness to anybody or cannot stand into the line to get relief due to their self respect. 

AFM Sayeed told The Bangladesh Post, “The low-income people can express their hardship but the middle-income people cannot. Therefore, we are trying our best to provide assistance on behalf of Dhaka district police although our capability is limited.”

“I urge to everyone to stand beside those people as much as possible, those, who are in hardship as country shutdown amid Coronavirus outbreak”, the OC added.
