Padma Bank Limited has signed an exclusive fee collection agreement with Dhaka Boys and Girls College on Sunday to collect the monthly fees and other payments of its students, the bank said in a statement.
As part of the Padma Bank “Exclusive Fee Collection Agreement” some 500 students of the college will be able to deposit their fees and other tuition related expenses very smoothly.
It will ease hassles for the students who sometimes have to spend hours in the queue in a bank branch to pay their fees.
Under the agreement, Padma Bank will very soon launch a Mobile App, allowing guardians of the students to pay the fees of their sons and daughters in just one minute by using the App through a mobile phone. Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Padma Bank Limited, Md Ehsan Khasru, and The President of Governing Body of Dhaka Boys & Girls College Advocate A.K. Sikder Azad signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
“Ever since its inception the Padma Bank has been striving hard to ease banking facilities for the countrymen. The Mobile App reflects our commitment to the country’s students and their guardians,” Mr. Khasru said.
