Paba OC gets Joy Bangla, Mother Teresa awards

Rejaul Hasan, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Paba Police station under RMP was awarded prestigious 'Joy Bangla Personality Award' and the Mother Teresa Gold Medal separately for his special contribution in maintaining law and order and service to humanity. 

It is learnt, OC Rejaul Hasan is being lauded for his humanitarian and social services in the area. He made the roads of the upazila free of illegal occupiers and traders. For his sincere endeavour, the road and surrounding areas of the offices, educational institutions of the upazila were kept clean and free from pollution. He also reconstructed the Juma mosque at the police station premises and gave it a unique shape. 

OC Rejaul Islam in this connection said,' willingness is the inspiration of all good work. He said, by watching the dilapidated condition of the Paba thana mosque, he felt the urge to repair and renovate it and as a part of his morality and religious obligation, he started to repair, renovate and beautification of the mosque. He mentioned the contribution of OC ( investigation) Azad and other officials of the police station for the repair and renovation works of the mosque. 

According to sources, for improvement of law and order situation and for special contribution to human services, OC Rejaul Hasan was awarded with two prestigious awards" Joy Bangla Personality Award-2019' and the ' Mother Teresa Award-2019' at a function held at Kobita Cafe in Dhaka where Siddiqur Rahman Mia, learned Justice of Bangladesh Supreme Court, Language veteran Rezaul Karim, Additional Secretary Pirjada Shahidul Harun and Professor Dr. Mahbubur Rahman, Vice Chancellor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University were present.
