Oxfam Bangladesh is now offering fellowship opportunities for Bangladeshi students and researchers to conduct studies on disaster resilience. The program, announced recently, invites applications for research in key areas such as food security, water resource management, natural resource conservation, and vernacular architectural practices related to disaster resilience. Interested applicants can apply until November 21, 2024.

The fellowship will provide grants to the top five selected researchers, covering all project and research expenses. Additionally, Oxfam Bangladesh will promote the selected research findings on regional and global platforms, expanding the visibility of the fellows' work.

To be eligible, applicants should have a background in fields such as geography, disaster management, sociology, anthropology, journalism, architecture, urban and regional planning, gender studies, or other related disciplines. Candidates must also have experience working with disadvantaged and disaster-affected communities and be skilled in writing and presenting research proposals and reports.

Application requirements include a complete resume, a motivational letter, and a 1,500-word proposal. This proposal should align with the fellowship’s Terms of Reference, containing a problem statement, a suggested solution, an implementation plan, and a proposed budget.

For further details on eligibility, application procedures, and required documents, candidates are encouraged to visit Oxfam Bangladesh's official application portal. The deadline for submitting applications is November 21, 2024.
