In two days in Feni, 107 patients infected with the deadly coronavirus have recovered. In six upazilas, 63 people recovered on Tuesday and 44 on Monday, according to the district health department. A total of 461 corona patients have recovered in the district.
On Tuesday afternoon, the District Civil Surgeon's Office statistician Md Yusuf said, “The newly recovered people include 24 in Feni Sadar Upazila, 15 in Daganbhuiyan, 16 in Sonagazi, 7 in Chagalnaiya and one in Parashuram.
He added that in the last 24 hours, 11 more patients have been identified in Feni. With this, the number of corona victims in Feni stood at 838.
Among the newly infected were 4 in Feni Sadar Upazila, 6 in Sonagazi and one in Fulgazi have been infected with coronavirus. On this day, reports of 144 people came from the lab of Noakhali Abdul Malek Medical College.
According to district health department sources, 4,938 samples were collected till Wednesday and sent to the labs of Bangladesh Institute of Tropical and Infectious Diseases (BITID), Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University and Noakhali Abdul Malek Medical College. Of these, sample test reports of 4,547 people have been received.
Of the 838 patients identified so far in Feni, 333 are in Feni Sadar Upazila, 132 in Sonagazi, 181 in Daganbhuna, 103 in Chagalnaiya, 41 in Fulgazi and 35 in Parshuram and 13 in other districts outside Feni. So far 16 people have died of corona virus in the district.
