More than 300 poor and low-income families affected by floods in Sarishabari of Jamalpur received food aid. On Thursday afternoon, the Pogaldigha Union Parishad of the upazila distributed these food items in the new market area of Damodarpur.
Pogaldigha UP Chairman Ashraful Alam Manik, Union Awami League Information and Research Affairs Secretary Moniruzzaman Monir, Upazila Secchasebak League member Zakir Hossain Jewel, Union Secchasebak League Health and Population Affairs Secretary Mostak Monir, UP member Sona Mia, 7,8, were present. Noori Begum, female UP member of Ward No. 9, etc.
At this time, these food items were distributed among more than 300 families of Damodarpur and Char Pogaldigha villages of the union.
