A total of two crore 72 lakh 14
thousand and 841 doses of Covid-19 jabs were administered till Sunday in all eight districts of the division.
Health officials said the special Covid-19 vaccination cam
paign continues with administering first, second and third doses of jab in all eight districts of the
division.
Citizens are being vaccinated with five types of Covid-19 jabs like Moderna, AstraZeneca, Sinopharm, Pfizer-BioNTech and Sinovac across the division.
However, inoculation of citizens with Moderna Covid-19 vaccines is currently not continuing due to shortage of the jabs.
"Till Sunday, a total of 1,34,94,50 people got the first dose of Covid-19 jabs, and of them, 1,25,26,306 got the second doses and 11,69,178 got the booster doses," Divisional Director (Health) Dr Abu Md Zakirul Islam said.
The first dose recipient 1,34,94,501 citizens include 39,31,489 vaccinated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 20,00,878 with Pfizer, 52,25,858 with Sinopharm, 1,31,876 with Moderna and 22,04,403 with Sinovac.
The second dose recipients include 37,80,618 people inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 18,17,263 with Pfizer, 51,36,810 with Sinopharm, 1,27,554 with Moderna and 16,64,061 with Sinovac.
"Besides, the 11,94,031 booster dose recipients include 10,68,075 vaccinated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 1,22,866 with Pfizer and 3,090 with Moderna," Dr. Islam added.
