Over 100 people receive clothes in Raozan for Durga Puja

In celebration of Sharadiya Durga Puja, the largest religious festival for the Sanatani (Hindu) community, clothing was distributed to over 100 men and women in Raozan. The initiative was organised by Mohammad Ali Sumon, former Assistant Sports Secretary of the Chattogram North District Volunteer Wing of the BNP, under the guidance of former Member of Parliament Gias Uddin Quader Chowdhury.

The distribution event took place on Friday at MJ Square Community Centre in Ward 6 of Raozan Municipality.

Raozan Municipality BNP's former General Secretary Syed Manjurul Haque was present as the chief guest. The keynote speaker was Saber Sultan Kajol, Vice President of the Chattogram North District Jubo Dal. The event was presided over by organiser Mohammad Ali Sumon.

Special guests included Motaher Ali Chowdhury Sohel, Labour Affairs Secretary of North District Jubo Dal, and Raozan Municipality Jubo Dal leader Mohammad Rewaz.

The programme was moderated by former Raozan College Chhatra Dal Vice President Hasan Bahadur, and attended by various local leaders and activists from the Jubo Dal and Volunteer Wing, including Mohammad Manju, Saifuddin Rubel, Munna Talukdar, and others.
