More than 10,000 students across Bangladesh have received their Cambridge International Education June 2025 exam results, reflecting the country’s growing demand for world-class education.

This year, over 4,800 students in 81 schools across Bangladesh received their Cambridge IGCSE and O Level results. With more than 23,000 exam entries in June, Bangladesh saw a 3% increase compared to 2024. Bengali, English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry were among the most popular subjects.

Meanwhile, more than 6,100 students from 73 schools across the country received their Cambridge International AS & A Level results earlier this month. Over 17,200 exam entries were recorded for this series, a 7% rise from last year. Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Economics topped the subject choices.

Globally, Cambridge released June 2025 results to more than 680,000 students, a 9% increase from last year. The total number of exam entries reached nearly 1.7 million, up 7% on 2024.

Vinay Sharma, Cambridge’s Senior Vice President for International Education in South Asia, congratulated students and said the results reflect a commitment to preparing for global opportunities. “At Cambridge, we believe education equips learners with the skills and confidence to thrive in a rapidly evolving world,” he said.

Sarwat Reza, Cambridge’s Country Lead for Bangladesh, said the rising number of entries reflects families’ aspirations for global-standard education. “The success of Cambridge learners is a testament to their dedication, as well as the support of teachers and parents,” she added.

The growing interest in Cambridge programmes shows Bangladesh’s focus on preparing students for higher education and future-ready careers in an increasingly interconnected world.
