Institute of Science and Technology (IST), a private institute affiliated with the National University, arranged the orientation programme of 2022-23 session at its auditorium on Monday (September 11, 2023).
Professor Dr Shahida Rafique, chairman of managing committee of the IST and former dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Dhaka University; spoke at the event as the chief guest.
Farida Nasreen, student affairs adviser of the IST and a former additional secretary at Ministry of Finance; attended the event as the special guest; with Dr Saleh Mohammad Rafique, director (admin) of IST; in the chair.
Professor MA Mazid, principal of Institute of Science and Technology (IST); delivered the welcome speech at the event.
Runa Rukhsana, a professor at the IST; Ziaul Hasan, an associate professor; Ashfarkur Rahman, an associate professor; Saleh Mohammad Maruf, an assistant professor; Dwtiti Yeasmin, an assistant professor and head of the CSE department; and Nafia Laila, an assistant professor and head of the business administration department; spoke on the occasion, among others.
