Canadian University of Bangladesh (CUB) has arranged an orientation for the MBA, EMBA freshers of Summer-2019 on 27 June at its Banani campus. Sheikh Fazle Fahim, President, FBCCI was present on the occasion as the chief guest and inaugurated the ceremony while Professor Mohammad Abdul Momen of IBA, Dhaka University was present as special guest. Dr Chowdhury Nafeez Sarafat, founder chairman, Board of Trustees, Canadian University of Bangladesh chaired the programme.
Prof Dr Mohammad Mahfuzul Islam, Vice Chancellor, Canadian University of Bangladesh delivered the welcome speech while Dr M Mamoon Al Bashir, Director, MBA & EMBA programmes conducted a presentation on the MBA & EMBA programmes of CUB. Renowned corporate personality Arif Shahriar, people and business performance officer of Rahimafrooz Group and Mukit Ahmed, head of e-marketing of Banglalink have expressed their experience of teaching at the MBA programme of Canadian University of Bangladesh as adjunct faculties
Among others, Professor Dr Nazrul Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Professor Willam H Derrenger, dean, School of Business, Dr Shahrukh Adnan Khan, dean (acting), School of Science and Engineering, Bahauddin Mohammad Isa, Registrar, S M Arifuzzaman, head, Department of Business Administration, and other teacher-students and officials of Canadian University of Bangladesh were also present at the programme.
