Police have organized an open house day in Kuliarchar upazila of Kishoreganj. District Additional Superintendent of Police (crime) Tahiat Ahmed Chowdhury addressed the open house day function held at the police station ground on Wednesday as the chief guest.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kuliarchar Police Station AKM Sultan Mahmudpresided the function. Upazila Parishad Chairman Alhaj Yasir Mia and Bhairab Circle Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police Rezwan Dipu spoke as special guests.
Among others, Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Sayeda Khanam Mukta, Zilla Parishad Member Bir Muktijoddha Zillur Rahman, Upazila Awami League General Secretary Bir Muktijoddha Murshid Uddin Ahmed, Gobria Abdullapur UP Chairman Abbas Uddin, Ramdi UP Chairman Alhaj Alal Uddin, Usmanpur UP Chairman Nizam Qari, Chaysuti UP Chairman Mir Misbahul Islam, Salua UP Chairman Shah Mahbubur Rahman and Faridpur UP Chairman Muhammad Shah Alam spoke on the occasion.
Political leaders, public representatives, civil society dignitaries and journalists from print and electronic media were present at that time.
At the same time, the speakers appealed to the locals to help the police in eradicating various crimes including madhak and gambling from Kuliyarchar.
