Open discussion on liberation war at JnU held

An open discussion session titled “1971 War Children: Legal Perspective” was held at Jagannath University (JnU) Marketing departmental conference room on Thursday. The discussion program  focused on the leadership and contribution of children freedom fighters durning the liberation war of Bangladesh in 1971.

JnU Land Law and Management department organised the program. Mr. Mustofa Kamal, writer of “71 er Juddhoshishu Obodhito” was present as chief discussant while Law faculty dean Prof. Dr. Christin Richardson Research addressed at the program.   Mustofa Kamal discussed  his book based on history of liberation war and answered many law related questions raised by the participants. 

He urged students to focus on research related activities and present his research articles. Mr. Mustofa Kamal wrote the book collecting information from five different countries. He depicts many incidents of Bangladesh liberation war including the contribution of children freedom fighters.

 bilateral meeting regarding legal complexities between Bangladesh and Canadian administration, class division of both countries, inhuman behaviour of Pakistan army with women and children of Bangladesh and overall introduction of children fighters.
