The results of the ‘Kha’ unit admission test under the Faculty of Art of Dhaka University for 2019-2020 academic sessions have been published on Sunday. The University of Dhaka Vice-Chancellor Prof Mohammad Akhtaruzzaman unveiled the result at the central admission office in the administrative building around 1pm.
A total of 42,954 out of 45,018 candidates appeared for the test against 2,378 seats which was held on September 21. The candidates first sat for a multiple choice question (MCQ); once passed, 18,581 students were then selected for a written test. A total of 10,188 students passed the written test and the pass rate stood at 23.72%, said a press release issued by the "Kha" unit office.
Candidates can check their results at admission.eis.du.ac.bd or use the short message service (SMS) available on any mobile operator, the release added. For SMS notification of the results, a candidate will have to type DU KHA roll number and send it to 16321. The successful students will have to fill the “Subject Choice Form” on the website and submit it between October 16 to 31.
All other admission related information will be available on the examination website's "Kha" unit notice section. It is to be noted that the admission test of 'B' unit was held on September 21 this year in 72 centers of inside and outside of the university campus.
