Published : 31 Mar 2024 09:53 PM

Primary school teachers across the country are gearing up for the commencement of the online transfer application process, set to begin from Saturday, March 30, and extend until April 17. The Department of Primary Education has officially announced the initiation of this crucial phase, as outlined in a letter circulated on Friday, March 29.

According to the directives outlined in the letter, primary school teachers are advised to submit their transfer applications online within the stipulated timeframe, starting from March 30 until April 1. Following this initial phase, a rigorous verification process is scheduled to unfold in subsequent days, ensuring the authenticity and accuracy of the applications.

Verification procedures will be conducted meticulously, with Head Teachers taking charge of verifying applications on April 2, followed by Assistant Upazila/Police Station Education Officers overseeing verification on April 3 and 4. Upazila/Thana Education Officers will then proceed with verification and approval from April 5 to 7, while District Primary Education Officers will undertake the task from April 8 to 14. The final stage of verification and approval will be facilitated by the Deputy Director of the Department, spanning from April 15 to 17. Teachers are reminded to indicate their preferences for up to three schools, with the option to select fewer if multiple choices are unavailable. Importantly, once an order of transfer is issued based on an application, subsequent requests for cancellation will not be entertained, emphasizing the importance of careful consideration during the application process. Moreover, the verification officers will adhere strictly to the 'Integrated Online Transfer Guidelines (Revised) 2023,' issued by the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education on October 10, 2023, ensuring conformity with established protocols. It is emphasized that while preferences will be taken into account, there is no guarantee of transfer as per the applicant's choice, with selection based on eligibility and automated software management to handle multiple applicants efficiently.

The initiation of the online transfer application process marks a significant step in facilitating the mobility and placement of primary school teachers, ensuring optimal distribution of resources and expertise within the education sector.
