Online appointment at BSMMU Fever Clinic begins tomorrow

The online appointment system at the ‘Fever Clinic’ run by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) will begin from tomorrow.

BSMMU will provide the appointment through online for ensuring the quality services of the ‘Fever Clinic’ and ‘Covid-19 Diagnostic Laboratory’, according to a BSMMU press release issued on Saturday, reports BSS.

The online system will also reduce the sufferings caused by long queues of patients and prevent the spread of disease due to congestion.
Patients will have to register online with their name, address, gender, age and mobile phone number from 8am on Sunday. After registration, the appointment will be notified via SMS from the specific mobile phone of the university.

The patient has to come to the fever clinic according to the mentioned time and receive the medical service by showing the SMS.
The same appointment system will also be maintained in case of receiving the required laboratory services.

Frontline warriors of the COVID-19, including doctors, healthcare providers, print and electronic media journalists and members of the police, will have to register in the same way.

Freedom fighters will also have to register and make an appointment in the
same way.

Those who will make an appointment in the special quota will also have to come to the fever clinic and receive medical treatment as per the time mentioned in the SMS sent from the specific mobile phone of the university.

Those who will make appointment in a special quota will have to show recognized and acceptable identity card issued by the employer or the appropriate authority while receiving medical treatment. Appointments will be made online every day from 8am only for the next working day.
