Online application for admission into class XI in the government and private colleges began on Sunday, reports BSS.
“Aspirants, who passed the SSC and equivalent exam this year, can apply online and via text messages from Teletalk numbers for admission,” said Inter- Education Board Coordination Committee and Dhaka Education Board Chairman Professor Ziaul Haque.
As per the admission policy, the applications will be received in three phases, he said, adding that in the first step, students can apply till May 23 while the result of the first phase will be published on June 10.
In the second phase, the aspirants can apply on June 19 and 20. The results of the second phase will be published on June 21, Ziaul said. The students could apply online on June 24 in the last phase while the results will be published on June 25.
The students have to get admission in their selected colleges within June 27 to 30 while classes will start from July 1.
Each student can submit application to minimum five colleges and maximum 10 colleges. The online application fee is Taka 150 for online while Taka 120 for application via SMS from mobile. The admission into Class XI will be completed on the basis of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) results.
