Renowned guitarist Oni Hasan is set to make a much-anticipated return to the Dhaka music scene with a special solo concert, “Let’s Vibe – Oni Hasan featuring All Stars,” on July 18. The event will be held at the Aloki Convention Centre in the capital, promising an electrifying evening for rock enthusiasts.
Organised by Dhaka Broadcast, the concert will run from 3:00pm to 10:00pm and feature performances by some of the country’s most prominent rock musicians. Alongside Oni Hasan, the lineup includes Mizan Rahman, Jamshed Chowdhury of Powersurge, and Rafa of AvoidRafa. Organisers have confirmed over ten performers so far, with more names to be announced in the coming days.
Before the concert kicks off, Oni Hasan will lead a guitar masterclass in the afternoon, joined by acclaimed guitarists Zubair Hasan of Indalo and Tawakir Tajammul, among others. The session offers a rare opportunity for young and aspiring musicians to learn directly from seasoned professionals.
Tickets for the event are already available online. Early bird rates are set at Tk 800 for students and Tk 1,000 for general admission. A combo ticket, which grants access to both the concert and the masterclass, is priced at Tk 2,500. It’s worth noting that tickets for the masterclass need to be purchased separately from concert admission.
Oni Hasan began his career at 18 with the band Vibe before joining the legendary Warfaze, where he earned a reputation for his technical mastery and commanding stage presence. He has been residing in China since 2011 after leaving Bangladesh to pursue higher education.
The event marks Oni Hasan’s return to the Dhaka stage after several years, and rock fans are eagerly awaiting his comeback.
