A farmer was killed in a road accident on Chattrohajari-Manikganj road at Noagram area under Lohagora upazila in Narail on Friday morning.
The deceased was identified as Farid Sheikh, 60, of Shorsuna village at the upazila.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Lohagora Police Stration Mokkarrom Hossain confirmed the matter. Locals and police said, the accident took place at ab out 8.30 am while a speedy motorcycle hit Farid,he critically injured. Locals rescued and took him to Narail sadar Hospital, where the on-duty doctor declared Farid dead.
