One person died and 66 dengue patients were hospitalized at various hospitals in Chattogram in the last 24 hours.
According to civil surgeon office, a total of 1,268 dengue patients were hospitalized at various hospitals in Chattogram in the first 20 days of July.
The total number of infected people in the district has reached 1,749 and the number of dead has reached 18 this year.
Civil Surgeon Dr Mohammad Iliyas Chowdhury stressed the need for precautionary measures to prevent the outbreak of the seasonal disease.
