National Film Award winning two actors - Chanchal Chowdhury and Zakia Bari Mamo acted together in a drama for last Eid.
Once again, the duo have paired up for a new drama titled ‘Bakkar Ekhon Banker’. Chanchal Chowdhury has played the title role in the drama and Mamo will be seen in the role of a police officer.
The shooting of the drama was completed at a shooting house in Uttara in the capital on January 31. Mizanur Rahman Belal wrote the drama while it was directed by Shokal Ahmed. In this regard, Director Shakal Ahmed said, “Chanchal Chowdhury and Mamo are both outstanding actors. As the two acted together, the scenes become lively. Chanchal Chowdhury played the role of Bakkar. A simple man and who is always upright with integrity.
The story of the drama revolves around him. I'm very optimistic about the drama.” Zakia Bari Mamo said, “Frankly, I'm trying to focus more on story-based drama. Viewers now try to find their own life stories, family stories in the play. And, because of YouTube, the dramas can now be enjoyed by Bengali speakers from not only just inside Bangladesh but from all around the world. They have to make dramas based on good stories. The story of this drama is good.
I've always tried to portray my character well. I hope the audience will enjoy it.” The director said that the drama will be aired on RTV on the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.
