OIC to help Rohingya repatriation
Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Secretary General Hissein Brahim Taha visited several Rohingya refugee camps in Ukhiya of Cox's Bazar on Monday.
The secretary general of the world’s biggest Islamic platform exchanged views with the Rohingya refugees and said the organization is always active in protecting the interests of the persecuted Rohingya.
Refugee Relief and Repatriation Commissioner Mizanur Rahman greeted him with flowers when he reached Ukhiya’s Madhurchhara 4 Extension Camp.
Community leaders, youths, imams and women rights activists from various Rohingya camps attended the programme.
They sought help to return to their country with citizenship. Besides, they expressed presented their different opinions to the secretary general of OIC.
