Road, Transport and Bridges Minister and Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader, who was undergoing treatment in Singapore, is scheduled to return to the country tomorrow. He will return home by a flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines around 6:00am on May 15, said Shaikh Walid Faiej, public relations officer of Bridges Department.

"Sir (Quader) can now walk normally and does physical exercise regularly. He is returning home upon instruction by the physicians," Walid said. Obaidul Quader was flown to Singapore for treatment on March 4 after he had suffered respiratory problems. Qauder was initially admitted to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) hospital on March 3 following breathing complications. Tests revealed three blockages in his coronary artery. He was flown to Singapore the next day for treatment. The Minister underwent a bypass surgery on March 20. The hospital released him on April 5.
