Awami League general secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader was hospitalized to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) as he fell sick on Friday morning, reports BSS.
Obaidul Quader reached the AL president’s political office at around 10:00 am as a party secretary-level meeting was scheduled to be held on yesterday morning. “Obaidul Quader was taken to the BSMMU for check-up after he fell sick due to cold and respiratory problems during a meeting at the Awami League president’s political office at Dhanmondi around 10:00am,” Awami League Office Secretary Barrister Biplob Barua told BSS. He is now undergoing treatment at the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University.
