Government of India has sanctioned 10,000 scholarships for heirs of Muktijodhas over five years and the scheme was started in 2017-201 8, says the press release from Indian High Commission.
For the year 2019-2020, 2000 scholarships will be awarded (1000 each for Higher Secondary and Undergraduate levels). Undergraduate students will get a onetime amount of Taka 50,000 and Higher Secondary students Taka 20,000.
Ministry of Liberation War Affairs, Government of Bangladesh has partnered with Indian High Commission to select deserving students covering all districts of Bangladesh.
