Vice Chancellor of Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) Prof Dr Md Didar ul Alam said, “I feel honoured to receive the responsibility of developing this university academically and structurally.”
In a statement, he also said that during this critical corona period, the university has set an example by starting corona testing in its own lab. Besides, this university has extended a helping hand to other institutions by sharing the experiences of Corona test. “It is our firm conviction that we will work to accelerate and sharpen the progress of this university through our selfless work,” he added.
NSTU Public Relations Officer Iftekhar Hossain confirmed about the statement of the NSTU VC on Thursday night.
In the statement, the VC said, “We all need to be come forward and become united to develop this university. We all have good bonding among each other. We must have respect for this university as we are dependent on this university for our livelihood. This university family is a big institution which have tied us. We should remember the truth that when we pull a colleague down, we lower ourselves."
The NSTU VC expressed his feelings about completing one year as Vice Chancellor of this University and said, “I thank Almighty Allah for the greetings and respect shown to me by the well-wishers including the teachers-students, officers and employees of the university. I feel honoured and overwhelmed for the evaluation I got from all as guardian since my joining.”
Prof Didar ul Alam mentioned about the progress of NSTU by mentioning the success of the teachers and students. The VC also informed about his activities as Vice Chancellor during this corona crisis and hoped for the cooperation of all to accelerate the overall development of the university in future”.
